Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice where poses are held for several minutes to gently stress and hydrate the body’s deeper layers of connective tissue fascia, ligaments, and joints. By relaxing muscular effort, the body has time to soften, release, and gradually increase mobility. This stillness encourages the parasympathetic nervous system to activate, inviting a sense of calm, grounding, and emotional spaciousness.

Although subtle, Yin can be deeply transformative. Long holds often reveal where we store tension physically, mentally, and emotionally and offer a pathway for profound release. Yin Yoga is especially supportive for those who practice fast-paced or strong styles, as it creates balance by slowing down and turning inward. This class is accessible to all levels, inviting you to let go of effort and simply be with your breath and your body.
